One of the most popular tourist activities in Belize is scuba diving in the Caribbean Sea. Many people opt to dive in the world famous Blue Hole off the coast of Caye Caulker. However, because I'm cheap, I went with the local excursion instead. Nevertheless, there was plenty of diverse marine life to be seen.
During my stay in San Ignacio, I visited a local iguana sanctuary in an effort to learn something new. The only thing that I learned was that iguana's get turned on by the color blue. RIP my favorite blue shirt.
Arrived in Belize expecting that great weather that I heard so much about. However, mother nature had other ideas.
