In the Buddhist faith, each male has an obligation to become a monk during the course of their lifetime. Most choose to do so for a few weeks while others decide to make it a life long journey. Regardless of one's period of commitment, monks are sent to temples where they are able to grow more confident in their spiritual journey through meditation and instruction. This particular video was taken in a temple in Huey Vietnam where young children who have begun the process of becoming monks are reciting different chants.
